"Growing up, my biggest role models in the media were those three good looking guys from WongFu and Mr. Kevjumba. Back then, I never thought for a second that I could make YouTube videos like they did. However, the first time I ever made a video, I felt more alive than I ever did at my corporate job at P&G. So I decided to quit my job and start making videos full time.
Growing up as an Asian American kid in the Midwest, I definitely saw the world through a different lens than most of my peers. These are the stories I want to share, that are often untold and overlooked."

Join Edward Kim, head of the Office of Education Excellence at C2 Education, to learn how to the SAT, ACT, and other standardized tests play a critical role in college admissions. During this 50-minute seminar, you will learn how to make a decision between exams, how to make your testing advantageous for your future applications, and how admissions committees will view such tests.
Students may see the interview as the last hurdle to jump over in the long college admissions process. But Thé Truong, Yale Club of Georgia Alumni Schools Committee Chair, says students should see it a chance to meet with someone who represents the college. It’s a great chance to personally show the school why you want to go there, to start a relationship with people there and to show what you’re all about.
Mr. Truong says for many of the applicants, “the college interview may be the first time complete strangers ask them about personal questions in their 17 years,” and “it’s understandable that they are intimidated or nervous.”
In this seminar, Mr. Truong will let students see the interview in the eyes of the interviewer. What are they trying to learn about the students, what is the thought behind common questions, and what makes for a good interviewee?
When should you start getting ready for medical school? "Earlier the better, but in college is definitely too late," says Jaehwa Choi, Assistant Professor of Physiology at Mercer School of Medicine. It's because getting into medical school doesn't allow you to miss a bit. With the average graduating GPA of 3.8 or 3.9 at most medical schools, You don't get many second chances in keeping your grades up.
But It's not just about keeping your grades up. You can strategize your path to medical school by reading your dream school's mission statement. Mercer's mission for its medical school is educating primary physicians for Georgia's rural and underserved areas, so the type of students it looks for reflect that. Dr. Choi says you should use the mission statement as your guideline.
